A Enauta informou ao mercado na manhã desta quarta-feira (30) que iniciou negociações para uma eventual venda de 50% do campo de Atlanta, na Bacia de Santos, para a petroleira australiana Karoon Energy. Desde o ano passado, a Enauta já havia sinalizado que procurava por novos parceiros para o desenvolvimento do campo, que deve ganhar em breve o seu sistema de produção definitivo.

Em fato relevante publicado hoje, a Enauta explicou que recebeu uma oferta não vinculante e assinou um acordo que assegura período de exclusividade para diligência prévia e negociações confidenciais no âmbito de uma potencial venda de 50% de sua participação no campo. “O acordo de exclusividade é válido até 31 de maio de 2022. As partes têm discricionariedade para prosseguir ou não com a operação”, disse a petroleira no comunicado.

Caso o acordo saia do papel, a Enauta continuará sendo a operadora de Atlanta. No início de fevereiro, a petroleira brasileira, presidida por Décio Oddone, (foto) anunciou a decisão final de investimento no sistema definitivo para o campo. Ao todo, a empresa vai desembolsar US$ 1,2 bilhão no projeto, que inclui a contratação de um navio-plataforma para a área. O FPSO OSX-2, que será instalado no campo, terá capacidade para produzir 50 mil barris de petróleo e processar 140 mil barris de água por dia.
